We are Tom & Sarah Cockerill founders of Cockerill & Co and hosts of The UK Flooring Podcast.
A few years ago we found ourselves teetering on the edge of bankruptcy.

We were lonely, out of our depth and desperate to turn our situation around.

We soon realised we weren’t alone and after re-defining our purpose we set off on a mission to help as many people in the flooring industry as possible.

Whether that help is provided in the form of our bespoke training courses held at our training facility in Darlington, County Durham, through our one-to-one mentoring programmes or through the podcast we endeavour to help flooring professionals from across the UK create structure and profits in their flooring businesses.

As we strongly believe in surrounding yourself with likeminded people and peers that can motivate you, inspire you and teach you more than any textbook or course can The UK Flooring Podcast was incepted in January 2022. The goal of the podcast: to provide our listeners with insights into the worlds of other flooring contractors and suppliers from different backgrounds and with different experiences in the hope that someone else’s story can bring hope, enlightenment and entertainment to others within the flooring industry.
